"Tragedy Strikes at Elementry School"

     Synopsis: Friday December, 14, 6 adults 20 children were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School, by a man known as Adam Lanza. Adam kills his mother and takes her gun then walks in an elementary school with a assault rifle (owned by his mother) firing upon 26 people, 20 of them being children, also killing himself.

     Analysis: I believe that was one of the worst shootings in the past decade. Once it hit the news Friday, it was very sad how one insane person could have killed 26 people. I think he went to an elementary school, because there it is full of innocent people and he snapped. I hope all of the families affected by the children and facility members that were killed that day, are safe and can get over their grief. There is a series of funerals going on through the week for the victims that were killed.

     Victoria soto, a teacher heard the shots and put the children in the closet, the gunman came in and shot her. Six of the children survived and ran from the scene, to a neighbors driveway. Rosen 69 year old took them in his home, and fed them. he asked what had happend, the two little boys said that there teacher was shot. Rosen called thir parent to come and get them.

Synopsis:
In Portland, Oregon a crazy sociopath (Jacob Tyler Roberts, 22) shoots and kills three people in an Oregon mall Dec 11. The shooter had a rifle and a hockey mask on his face, and went store to store firing at least twenty shots, killing three people. Shevchenko, 15 was shot with a chest wound and was taken to a hospital for surgery. Families of the victims who died Yuille and Forsyth had brief comments: "Yuille was remembered as EverReady's friend who put others first, and Forsyth had two children, a great sense of humor and a zest for life. The shooter killed himself from a self inflicted gunshot, when he knew he couldn't run away from the police. Witness David Moran, mall employee said "The gunshots were so loud, it was very scary... kids were crying. Parents were crying too." There were many more witnesses.    

Analysis:
     I think the Oregon Shooting was a very sad day, and scary for the people that were in the mall at the time of the incident. I think the shooter had a mental breakdown, so he killed three people and injured a few other people, also killing himself at the mall, because there was no escape. Many witnesses said they heard everyone screaming,when they heard the gunshots getting closer they thought they were going to get shot. Friends of the shooter were shocked when they heard who it was. I hope the families of the victims, can get through the tragic loses.

"Hurricane Sandy"

Synopsis:

     On October 29, 2012 Hurricane Sandy, a destructive storm has killed over one-hundred people. The storm came at ninety MPH, destroying homes and causing blackouts in their homes. Streets flooded under the Manhattan bridge, and seawater poured in the underground sub-way. The hurricane cause a building at Breezy point, NY to catch on fire, the spread of the fire burned down buildings and houses nearby. It was a devastating storm.  

Analysis:

      The 29th of October was a tragic day when the storm hit and killed many people, after the storm hit, not a lot of people helped out the hurricanes victims. One way to still help is raise money for the people who lost their homes. And i hope every one can get back on their feet
